Food Ministry
The "BREAD OF LIFE" ministries believes that serving others through meeting not just the spiritual needs but the physical needs is an awesome and effective way for you to serve and connect with not only the members of the church but more importantly the community.

The Southlake Church truly believe that one of the most important things that we can do as a church is to meet the needs of our communities.  So, not only does the food ministry meet the needs within the walls of our congregation through various ministruies we try desperately to meet the needs of our community.  We are focused on providing food and other resources to help the people that are suffering in different forms be food, connecting them with helpful resources or giving them the spiritual food necessary to become followers of Christ who meets all our needs!  We are a church that feels compelled or called to do its part to address hunger in its community, establishing a food pantry is an effective way to make a difference.  If you are interested in serving and meeting needs rather inward or outside of our church walls please get in touch with our ministry leaders provided below:

"THE FOOD SERVICE MINISTRY"
The purpose of Southlake Church Food Service is to support and enhance the ministries of the church by serving healthy, delicious food. We serve our members so that they in turn serve the congregation. To see our members serving, encouraging, comforting and supporting one another and modeling what it means to live in a Christian community, you come to understand what an important role in the ministries of Southlake food plays. We believe food provides the perfect opportunity for fellowship among our church members, visitors and guests.

"Behold," God says, "I have given you every plant and every tree. You shall have them for food."
Later, after the Flood, God adds animals: "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything"
(Gen. 9:3).
