Colossians 3:11 In that renewal there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.

Our first time visitors to our site, and to our Church, we welcome you! This page contains some basic information about Church services and times.

We offer many minitries to meet your needs ranging from singing in the choir and feeding the homeless, down to enjoying uplifting events and services.  Find your place in ministry.  Learn more about the many ministries that Southlake offers.  We are happy your are here!

To start with, we want you to know at least this much:
  • You are welcome here. We are always honored to have visitors join us for prayer and worship.    Everyone is welcome here.
  • You won’t be asked to do anything which would make you uncomfortable.  You may not be familiar with our church services but if you would like to learn why we do what we do you may ask any of our ushers, members or our minister.
  • We don’t expect visitors to contribute anything to the financial support of our church unless you feel it in your heart.  You are our guests; please enjoy our hospitality!
  • Our children worship with us or at our children's worship "JAM" (Jesus and Me), services with them in mind with their level of understnading. If you have young children, they are welcome here, too. If your children cry, fuss, or fidget; or you need to step to the back of the Church with them for any reason, you are not disturbing us. We love having children and as stated, we also provide a worship service specifically set up for little ones where they can giggle, wiggle, laugh, sing, and cry.  Your children are welcomed here!
  • We are here to serve you!  Simply put you are our honored guest.
    What to Expect?
  • We recognize that many people who visit a church for the first time do so with a bit of awkwardness and fear, but we hope that you feel warmly welcomed and comfortable at Southlake Church of Christ.  Southlake is a spiritual home to people from all walks and stations of life, who come together to worship God,
We have highlighted some key information in this section, but the best way to get to know Southlake is to talk with the people here. Don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with one of our members, the minister, elders and deacons.  Our greeters will meet you at the door!  We want you to feel welcomed.

What times are your worship services?
Our Bible Class starts at 9:00AM
Our worship services begin every Sunday at 10:00AM.  We offer an evening worship at 6:00PM
Our middle of the week bible studies begin at 7:30PM
We also offer ministries to meet the needs of our families and our community.  You may see some of them on this very website.  Take a look as you browse our sight!

    What happens during church?
As you enter the church, a friendly greeter will meet you and welcome you to our services.  You will receive our bullentin and newsletter as you are guided through to the service.  All of our services feature scripture reading, preachiing, prayer and singing.  At times you will be invited to stand, sing, pray, and greet your neighbor, be in silence, or read responsively.  Though similar in important ways, each service has its own style and delivery yet is true to the word of God.  Communion is offered and offering is taken, but please know hat our visitors are free to give, but it is not required for those who are not members.  At Southlake we give our total attention to worshipping God and we welcome all through our doors!

    How long do services last?
Our service last for about an hour with additional time for announcements and a special time to recognize our visitors.
Is there a fellowship time after church?
After each worship service the Southlake Church is open for a time of fellowship and greeting our welcomed visitors!
